アメリカの合衆国の野党・民主党が4日、Trump大統領への追及を本格化させた。大統領の家族ら81の個人などに対し、疑惑の関連資料を提出するよう求めている。

民主党議員がトップを務める下院の司法委員会は4日、81の個人と団体に対して、Trump大統領の疑惑に関連する資料を2週間以内に提出するよう求めた。大統領の長男や二男、娘婿のクシュナー上級顧問ら家族のほかに、元側近のコーエン被告やバノン元首席戦略官らも含まれている。

委員会は、ロシア疑惑の捜査で大統領による「司法妨害」があったのか、元不倫相手とされる女性への口止め料などの「腐敗」、そして、権力乱用という3つの疑惑を調査するとしている。これらの調査は、大統領を罷免する弾劾手続きに向けた足がかりとなる可能性がある。

一方、Trump大統領は「ロシアとの共謀は絶対ない。全部でっちあげだ」と反発を強めていて、対立が激しくなりそうだ。
